The website has been completely revamped (in August 2025) to better reflect the needs and interests of our members and visitors to the Heath. As well as more about what the Friends do, how to join and events for members, it now includes advice on how to get to the Heath and illustrated information on the formation of the Heath’s two distinct topographies, the uniquely juxtaposed flora which has resulted from them, its fauna and the story of how human activities have affected its landscape from the Mesolithic Age to the present time.
Quick bites
At the last AGM, the Committee was re-elected and the accounts approved.
The next event is a Bat Walk to be heldon Tuesday 19th May after sunset which is at 20.50 that evening. Details of the exact timing will be issued later.
